Replacing my old Eclipse® PFE2 system with the newer one.
I have the old Eclipse® PFE2 system, pre 2002. The impeller is shot, and I can't get a new one. I have a twenty gallon tank. I believe I need the motor housing, the impeller, the impeller mount underneath and the coupler. I think I can use the tube that came with the original. One operator said the newer system would work with mine, the other operator said it wouldn't I have looked at the owners manual of the newer system and it looked exactly like mine does. Before I dump 55 dollars to replace it can you tell me if it will work or not. Thanks.
If your impeller is approximately 6" long, and not an inch and a half long, you need the pump/filtration assembly, the flexible motor mount, the impeller, the impeller housing, and the intake tube in order to get your system to work again. If you have further questions on it, call and ask for me.

I have a 37 gallons Eclipse Tank and hood system.
I want to get the right part for it.
I want the Impeller housing, Impeller assembly, intake tube coupler, and filters.
My bio wheel is the big one you show as the pro, I'm pretty sure my filters r the H size. What parts does that mean I should order... I bought my system in 2006 only date I can find is on the pine stand and it says 2005.. Seems like my system after looking around is a cross between the 3 systems. I kind of figured it was an Eclipse 2 but I guess I'm more confused about that now. I hope this information helps you help me...
If you have a 37 gallon, then it is an Eclipse 3 System. Your tank would be 30" long. Here is a link to the parts page: http://www.marineland.com/search.aspx?q=eclipse%203#/?filter.brand=Marineland
Keep in mind, the abbreviated name for your system is PFE3. You will see this on any parts we sell for it.
