Maxi-Jet® Multi-Use Water Pumps are three pumps in one: power head, utility pump, and now featuring a circulation pump option. Still the best power head for powering undergravel filters and running wave maker timers, as well as for running small fountains, calcium reactors and skimmers.

The Maxi-Jet also contains an in-box conversion kit, which can turn the power head into a prop style circulation pump for ultimate water movement inside the aquarium--using the least amount of energy! The Maxi-Jet is the most fully adaptable pump available.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor design Bought this about two months shot to be used as a powerhead for my reef tank. Works great but is a poor design. The anchoring method are suction cups. It needs to be redesigned with a magnetic securing system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from little pump but .. way too much power Great pump, I have a 65 Gallon tall, I need water moving, I enjoy you can make it either a jet or pump for flow. Thing I got worried about I bout the 400 and its blasting my tank all over. I can see this stressing my fish out! Wish there was a way to regulate the water flow it be a perfect system as it is I will only run it 20 mins a day... I think>?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have lots of these We breed and sell fish. Lots of them. We currently have about 3,000 gallons of water under tank, tub and pond at the moment, and probably more than 1,000 fish at various stages of growth. We have thirty 40-gallon breeder tanks, a half dozen 75-gallon growth/breeder tanks, various other 55-gallon, 30-gallon and 10-gallon tanks, along with several 100 to 200 gallon stock tubs. We must have 50 of the Maxi-Jet 1200 powerheads that we use as tank polishers by attaching the cut-off tops of 16 ounce Pepsi bottles stuffed with floss to the intake of the powerhead. The powerhead draws the water through the floss and cleans it. A single powerhead can turnover the water in a 40-gallon breeder tank dozens of times per day. Our water is always crystal clear and clean. We just replace the floss every couple of days. The point is that we have used the Maxi-Jet 1200's 24-hours a day now for the nearly three years we have been involved with this breeding project/business and have had a sum total of one pump failure in all that time. That's it. One. I don't know about you, but I think that's a pretty darn good record. We wouldn't use anything else in our thanks for the purpose we're using them for. And for the between $20 and $25 you can get one for, to get all of those years of uninterrupted use out of them is a bargain in our view.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product with an incredible warantee While defective pumps can happen occasionally, I always buy Maxijet pumps for all my saltwater applications... I recently received a bad pump, and in practically NO TIME had a new one on my doorstep. My tank is happy, the pump is working GREAT, and knowing Marineland has my back is a huge benefit that makes the purchase worth every penny!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best 3 in 1 on the market!!! I am currently using two 400, four 600, two 900, and have two 1200. For fresh water shrimp breeding tanks as water circulation devices on sponge filters and diy in tank filtration on all my larger twenty to thirty gallon setups. I have also used these pumps for water circulation in my turthe tanks and planted tanks. As well as using them for utility pumps to fill my tanks when setting up new aquariums. These three in one style pumps are by far the best bang for your buck on the market today. If used propely will last a lifetime, well maybe not a lifetime, but close to it. I highly recommend these pumps there amazing!!
