Rated 5 out of 5 by from Different from any other flake I've never seen flakes manufactured like these, there is much less "dust" in them, the fish seem to like them and the price was, while not the least expensive, very good.

Can these be fed to saltwater fish? Is there any difference between "tropical" foods and "marine" foods, since the ingredients are nearly exact?

Asked by: Furry
We appreciate your interest in our nutrition products! There is actually quite a lot of difference in diets, and all of our diets are scientifically formulated and researched to meet the needs of each species. While this diet will not hurt marine animals, it will not meet their nutritional needs either, and should only be fed as a treat food. We recommend our Instant Ocean line of products, including or our line of Tetra Marine Foods including, Please let me know if you have any further questions. BREX

My fish won't eat the Marineland Color Enhancing Tropical Flakes that I just bought.  I have big angel fish and I have been feeding the Omega One Color Engancing Flakes.  Would you send me a coupon to get a replacement formulation?  I used 20 flakes.

Asked by: StripedFish_89
Fish will often take a while to accept a new food, especially if it is a lot different. It is best to mix it with some old food, if possible, but if you can't, then expect it to take several days for them to warm up to it. Coupons can be downloaded from our Facebook page. BREX

What kind of food do you recommend for Oscars?

Asked by: jody499
Good morning! We would recommend the TetraCichlid line of food. Typically we would recommend the TetraCichlid Flakes for Cichlids that are under 6" long. From 6-8", we would recommend the TetraCichlid Sticks, and then over 8" long, the Jumbo Sticks. Thank you, MINI

tropical food

how many pieces do each fish actually eat I have 4 mollies and we were putting in probably 2 teaspoons
Asked by: smoke514
In general, for fish of that size, about one flake per fish, two max. They should be fed once or twice a day. Keep in mind their stomachs are the size of their eyes, very, very small. BREX
