Need help with correct parts for a Marineland Eclipse 6 gallon tank

I recently purchased a used Marineland 6 gallon tank and need to replace the bio wheel since it is falling apart and get a filter cartridge for it, but since this tank has been discontinued I am having a hard time figuring out what parts will fit the tank. I may also need a new intake tube since a couple of the spokes on the one I have seem to be warped. So if you could please point in the right direction for these items. Thanks so much!

Here is a link to the parts that are still available. The cartridge is also available and is Rite Size K. Here is a link to the cartridges, just click on the drop down menu and select K. http://www.marineland.com/Products/aquarium-filtration-filter-media/rite-size-aquarium-filter-cartridges-filter-parts/eclipse-system-aquarium-filter-cartridge-replacement.aspx BREX

What size filter and bio wheel do I need?

I recently was given the Eclipse 6 hex5. The pump works but has no filter and the pet store I went to was unable to provide me the correct filters or biowheel.
Asked by: johndor
Thank you for your question. However, the Eclipse 6 and the Hex 5 aquariums are completely different. If you have the aquarium that is in the shape of a Hexagon then the Hex 5 is correct, which would take the Rite Size Z filter cartridge and the bio-wheel number is PR1932B. If you have a rectangular shaped system with a curved front panel, then it would be the Eclipse 6 and the Rite Size K filter cartridge would be necessary. The bio-wheel for the Eclipse 6 would be item number PR3120. You can find all of these items on this website. MINI

how do I figure out what bio wheel to get for my aquarium?

I purchased an aquarium at a yard sale and its missing the bio wheel. it came with a eclipse owners manual for the Eclipse 1 2 and 3. It says it is a Eclipse PFE1 pump. cant see any other part numbers anywhere or markings on the aquarium.
Asked by: barry44
If it has PFE1 on the side or back of the pump, then it is an Eclipse 1. You can order parts for that particular one here: http://www.marineland.com/search.aspx?q=pfe1#/?filter.brand=Marineland BREX

What bio wheel fits the 37 gal Eclipse system kit PFEC37M? Has LED lightning which has failed.

What Eclipse system # is the proper one for the 37 gal aquarium KIT system number, has mirror surround & LED lightning? I need the filtration system.
Asked by: Angels
We have never made a 37 gallon Mirror Back with LED. Years ago we had one with fluorescent lighting and the Eclipse. It took the Eclipse 3 or PFE3. BREX

Will this fit my current pump?

I just set up our fish tank that we haven't used in about three years. I noticed as I was setting it up the wheel is missing from the pump. Can I use this wheel in my pump PFES 02/02d/03/05hx/05cn/07hx?

water polishing filter

I am looking for a mircon cartridge water polishing filter for a penguim power filter 100 can you help me
Asked by: clubmaker
We don't make a micron cartridge for the hang on the back filters like the Penguins and the Emperors. If you are looking for the bio wheel, which is your biological media, that would be item number PRBW100B. This is sold through local fish stores, our website and other online vendors. BREX

Is there any way to purchase a replacement filter housing (the part that holds the filter itself, the bio wheel and plugs into the wall) ?

Not sure why or what happened but mine will no longer come on when I plug it in, went to try it tonight after not having the tank set-up for while and it would not work, I'm so disappionted... Thank's Liz

The Eclipse 6 has been discontinued for a few years, and the parts are going out of stock as we are not manufacturing them any more. Have you tried opening the pump, pulling out the impeller and cleaning both parts? We recommend using distilled vinegar for this, and it may be all your filter needs. Or it may need a new impeller. Impellers are still available, but pumps are not. I did a quick search and found them at www.amazon.com and www.petsolutions.com. BREX

What precisely is this product? Is it the wheel itself? The housing assembly? Please post a picture so I can be sure what I am ordering.

Asked by: Dave2
We apologize as we are still working on adding photos to our replacement part line and appreciate your patience. The Bio-Wheel assembly consists of just that - the Bio-Wheel for the Eclipse System 6, part number PR3120. Regards, Marineland2
