Magnetic Impeller Assembly for Eclipse® System 12 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad it was in stock.... Ooops, now it's not :-( The Eclipse Systems were the most ingenious (IMHO) tanks. They were a light weight, acrylic self-contained, turnkey aquarium. However, finding replacement parts for them is becoming harder. These impellers are perfect for the Eclipse System 12. Don't hestitate - if you need one and it's in stock, you better buy it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really love my Marineland eclipse aquarium!! I've had this aquarium for about 12 years now. I bought a replacement impeller which in the usual aquarium I would've had to replace the pump at least once by now. It's quiet it keeps my fish happy and I really like dealing with Marineland. When my impeller went out they were able to get me it out and the very next day's mail. With this company it's all about the people… Thank you very much!

Hi, I have a few questions, my filter pump does not pump, the pump runs, and the impeller is running, but no water comes up. It is noisy. Do I need a new impeller and housing? Don't know how old this one is as I got it from my daughter.

Asked by: xxxxz
First, make sure your water is to the top of the tank since the bottom part of the pump must be in the water. Second, remove the impeller and make sure it is attached to pump cover first, before you push it up into the pump itself. While it is out of the pump, I would recommend soaking it in distilled white vinegar (the impeller that is), and taking a q tip and vinegar to swab out the pump. If once you install the impeller into the cover and then into the pump it is still noisy, then you probably need a new impeller. Make sure there is no damage to the inside of the pump though, as well. If the impeller fits loosely in the cover/housing, you may need that as well. BREX
