Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set of intake / output heard tubes It's always nice to have an extra hard part of the tubing set. These hold tight to the glass and are square so as to not take up too much height. This size is for 1/2 ID Tubing just put the right size snap clamp at each end of the hose and your all set

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Parts Great part; after my tank was out of business for more than 4 years it needed parts to get it up and running smooth and quiet again. This part was bought more for cosmetic reasons, it replaced a rather dirty and damaged part.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great replacements I needed to replace my outlet line and this product was spot on and worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and straight forward. Exactly what I needed. I actually purchased these for a second intake tube to use for output, as I am using my pump with a turtle tank and the low water level meant that the outflow would splatter everywhere. This allowed for the water to pump out closer to water level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect replacements My old ones were getting a little crusty and these where perfect replacements and makes it look like brand new again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Intake length can't be shortenrd The intake tube length can't be shortened. There seems to be a design flaw in the way the intake screen attaches to the down tube. The flare is on the down tube instead of on the screen. Cutting the down tube to length will eliminate the flare thus making it inpossible to attach the intake screen. The only alternative would be to cut the down tube shorter and add a short length of flexible hose to attach the flare to the cut down tube so th intake screen can then be re-attached. This takes away from the clean seamless look inside the aquarium. Not a thought out design!

I have a c360 and the intake is way too long and sits at the bottom of the tank. If I cut it then the intake filter wont go on. Is there any shorter sizes available?

Asked by: SondraBurnsRed
No, we have just the one intake tube. Cutting it should not prevent the bottom strainer from connecting. All you need is a sharp kitchen knife or Exacto blade. We designed them so that customers could do exactly this, as necessary. BREX

Just bought a C-360 for my 75gallon. The intake tube is pretty long for a 75g and sits almost in the gravel of the tank. Do you guys have a shorter intake tube so the intake sits more in the middle of the tank rather then the bottom?

Asked by: Shawn W
No, there is only one intake tube available for this filter. You can trim the intake tube some, rather easily, and replacement intake tubes are always available. BREX

Is there an extender for the output diffuser. I want my output to got about 4 more inches under the water. The intake is a perfect length for my 125 though, just need longer output

Asked by: goldes24
Unfortunately, no, the outlet diffuser does not have an extension. It is meant to be at the surface level so that by breaking the surface with good flow, it creates a lot more oxygen. BREX

Cant prime my brand new C-360

I put everything together as per the instructions and after filling up my tank and try for several minutes to prime the system there is no water going trough the tubing. I notice a small hole on the corner of the intake tube and I suspect that is the problem as I assume there suppose to be vacuum and no air coming in. Bought on line trough Petco, so tomorrow i will go there to check if they have the model and see if the intake have the same little hole. Besides that what do you think it might be the problem?
Asked by: drwho56
No, there should definitely not be a hole in the intake tube. This could very well be the issue. The unit will prime easiest if it is not plugged in, is filled with water, and you push the prime button in and out, SLOWLY and STEADILY. I capitalized these words because I hear consumers pushing the button rapidly all the time. This does not allow the unit to begin to create the suction needed. Once water starts trickling down the tube, plug the unit into the outlet and let it finish on its own. This will take 1-2 minutes usually. BREX

Intake Tube for C-360

What is the inside/outside diameter of the intake tube (not the tubing) as I would like to extend mine with pvc pipe but am unable to do so as I do not know the diameter. if I use 1/2" pvc pipe will that work?
Asked by: Ummmm68512
The only spec I have would be 3/4" o.d. BREX

Do you offer an extension piece for the C360 canister?

Do you offer an extension piece for the C360 for the canister filter intake?
Asked by: jermaine
We do not currently offer an extension tube for our C series canisters. If you need the intake strainer to drop further into the tank (than the 17" already provided) feel free to use an additional length of flexible, lead-free vinyl tubing to connect between the intake tube and strainer.
