Rated 2 out of 5 by from Kinda helped I purchased this valve block because the one that came with leaks constantly when I disconnect it from the filter. I've had to clean this canister at least once a week, it loses pressure after 2 days and slows down to barely a trickle by the end of the second day. I've taken really good care of this filter and have had good luck with marineland in the past but no matter what I replace, I can't get thus filter to perform like it used to....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from C360 valve block I bought a used filter with no valve block. Ordered it and was here about a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cheap at twice the price This valve block is not rebuildable, but at the price so what? My intake side was leaking a cup every 3 minutes, so I replaced the valve block and the cost was $15 for the unit. That is one third the cost of a competitor's analog (I own one of their canisters) and parts delivery was excellent. These things work or they don't. This one was totally leak free upon installation, and I could replace it with every seal refresh for peace of mind.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This was not the same as the original and did not work. Therefore I will be sending the part back. This part was not the same as the original and did not work, have had enough aggravation with this filtration system and switched to a different system that is much easier to use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Flimsy construction I bought these to replace the old ones since the seals went bad in them. Hooked them up and they immediately started leaking. Had to finagle with them for almost a half hour before they stopped. Overall these feel like they were even more cheaply made then the originals. We'll see how long they last this time. I love the filters but something needs to be done about these valve blocks.

When will parts for the Magniflow canister filters be available from third part vendors (Amazon etc.)?

Asked by: JOE123
Many of the C series parts are the same ones for the Magniflow. In the case of the gaskets, however, that is not so. Also, the Magniflow 360 takes a different impeller, and they all take different valve blocks. These parts will begin to sell separately sometime later this year. BREX

When will the C-360 VALVE BLOCK be available. or can you give me a o-ring parts list for this part

Asked by: JOHN1978
It is due to arrive sometime this week. We do not have an o ring parts list for the valve block. The only o rings that can be replaced on it are the ones on the nozzles underneath. Spares of those are placed in each C360 package for future use. BREX

Are motor head assemblies available for purchase?

need a new Motor head for my daughters c-360, is this available for purchase? Or covered under warranty? She has two c-360s, motor head leaks at valve block, but other unit does not leak when same valve block is used.
Asked by: Rachel13237
No, motorheads are not sold separately. Have you replaced the motorhead o ring? That is the most common reason for a leak. The unit has a 3 year warranty. You would need to ship just the motorhead back, if that is the issue, to us and we would replace it for you. BREX

o rings for valve block

I bought the o ring kit. There are 2 small o rings but 4 on the valve block. I tried replacing just the two closer to the end but now the valve block will not go back onto the filter head.
Asked by: Filterisleaking
As long as you put the new o rings on the correct spot of the nozzle, I know no reason why it would not fit. This will sound crazy, but make sure you have the valve block fully in the open position and are putting it on correctly. Please call us directly if you continue to have issues. BREX

I cleaned the filter “canister” for the very first time and when I put it back together there are micro bubbles coming in the tank.

I cleaned the filter “canister” for the very first time and when I put it back together there are micro bubbles coming in the tank. I poured some water over the valve and it stopped for a minute until the water was suck up and now it’s sucking up a little bit of air. What happened? If I need a new valve, when it will be available? I bought the canister less than 6 months ago!!
Asked by: Giordano
Be sure your o ring did not get pinched or damaged when you removed and replaced the motorhead. Also, the same goes for the o rings on the underside of the valve block. There are two each on each nozzle. Also, as you look down on top of the valve block, you should not see any threads on the tubing nozzles. If you can, you do not have your tubing pushed down far enough onto the valve block. If you do have a bad valve block or o ring, please call or email us as they would still be under warranty. BREX

No, the o rings do not fit the C360 at all, they are for the valves on the Magnum 350. The valve block will be back in stock sometime in March. B-Rex

Hose size

What are the I.D. and O.D. sizes for the C-220 and the C-360
Asked by: oldman
The i.d. for the 220 is 5/8 and the i.d. for the 360 is 3/4". We do not have o.d. for them, as that is not necessary to match up the tubing to what is sold in Lowes/Home Depot and aquarium stores. BREX

When do you expect to have the valve block assembly in stock for the C-360?

I'm in need of the valve block for my 360. I've had a lot of experience with your canister filters over the years & I'm getting a very slight drip from around the block. I replaced the gaskets & checked seals. This should solve the problem. By the way I've always used Marineland filters & find them excellent in my various tanks. Great products. Thanks!
