I have a PFE3 filter and need a replacement bio wheel. It measures approx 7 inches long and 2.5 inches in diameter. Do you have one that'll fit?  ( I'm having a hard time finding dimensions on these wheels - ordered one forPFE3 but didn't  fit.....)

Asked by: Susanlt
You must not have a PFE3 then. The biowheel for it would be 6.75 x 2.5 inches. The only one that I know of that may be larger would be the Magnum 350 bio wheel or the Bio Wheel Canopy one. I suspect you don't have a canister filter, so either you have the Bio Wheel Canopy or you are missing the bearings on yours. Perhaps you should take a picture of your system, and email it to us. Also, the model name/number is molded onto the pump/filtration assembly. BREX

What size Bio Wheel should be on 75 gal fresh water?

We have a 75 gal fresh water fish tank. What kind of bio wheel do we need?
Asked by: CindyClosson
If you are inquiring what size filter system, I would recommend the Emperor 400 or the Magnum 350 Bio Pro System. BREX

Can you clean the biowheel safely?

Asked by: Mandalynn
The only recommendation for cleaning the biowheel is to take a q tip and gently wipe between each of the folds. This should only be necessary when there is an overabundance of bioload on the biowheel, weighing it down too much to turn. BREX
