I have the eclipse 10"Wx20"Lx20"H older model - replaced pump

Last night I had to install the new pump and it did fit well even though to part that puts the water across the filter has a much longer neck then the old pump.... had a fear of the whole pump motor being in the water, so I removed about 1 gallon from the 15 gallon tank. The bottom of the pump is in the water and is working well... is it safe to have this motor in the water and if so how much of the motor? Currently it is about half way up. I noticed an opening at the top of the area where the motor is housed that had what looked like a vent or some type of slot opening, so I was in fear of shorting the motor out.

If your unit was manufactured prior to the year 2000, the current motors will not fit properly without several other parts. If it was manufactured in 2000 or later, then it should fit fine, and the water level should be to the underside of the top frame of the tank. Approximately, half of the pump will be in the water. replacement filter pump

I have a regent aquarium which I believe was made for Walmart by you. It has the eclipse in hood filtration. The filter pump is model PL-TE1. I would like to order a replacement but can't find it in the online store.

Just recently I had the same replacement to make, I looked in my owners manual for the part number, then on the site you can put the part number in the search box and it appears, no problem if you use the part numbers.

My eclipse1's filter stopped working..tested and found out it works but without intake tube and strainer..why's it not pulling with the intake?

Eclipse1 Water filtration system...Recently stopped filtering...tested and it still works but without the intake tube and strainer...so do i need a new motor? or what should I do?

First thing I would do is to check the magnetic impeller to see if there were any obstruction or if it needed cleaning and also make the water level was adequate.

Is the PFE1 pump head obsolete. If it is what are my options for filtration on my Eclipse tank/system? Will I need to replace the entire canopy system

Is the PFE1 pump head obsolete. If it is what are my options for filtration on my Eclipse tank/system? Will I need to replace the entire canopy system? I have already converted to a hidden LED light set up and trashed the Flourescent Plate. I like this system and am very dissapointed it does not seem to be supported any longer.

The pump is still available. We are just out of stock on our site for some reason. I will speak with the moderator about that issue. You can order it here though: http://www.aquariumguys.com/pumpmotor.html You would need to buy a whole new hang on the back filter, hood, etc. BREX

I need Impelers for Eclipse PFES 12, how do I find them

Pump is starting to stop pumping occasionally, make clicking noises, after unplugging and plugging back in it works fine
Asked by: Bert
Have you opened it, removed the impeller and tried soaking it in distilled white vinegar? You can buy impellers through your retail pet/fish store or here: http://www.marineland.com/Products/aquarium-parts/Aquarium-Kit-Parts/Eclipse-Systems-Parts/Filtration-Parts/Magnetic-Impeller-Assembly-for-Eclipse-System-12.aspx BREX
