Any timeline/frame for when this item will be back in stock? I want to buy from the OEM, not a 3rd party supplier.

Asked by: evendude
This appears to be a site issue as we have stock, and we are working on it. Thank you for pointing it out! Hopefully, it will be fixed today. BREX

will this fit my emperor 400b? I just bought an extension tube and didn't realize I would need a piece in between to connect them.

Asked by: babybull7
Good morning, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes this extension tube will fit the Emperor 400 series. It would be placed between the intake tube and the extension. MINI

How to extend tube

Just bought 90 gallon tank. Have the Emperor 400. Will this be sufficient for the 90? Do I need the extension? Do I need the center strainer? Please advise. Thanks.
Asked by: Jimjoshus
That would depend on what types of fish you are keeping. If they are smaller, community types, yes. You may want a second filter if they are cichlids or goldfish. Yes, we recommend using the extension and mid-level strainer in your tank to extend it down to at least halfway. You can trim the extension, if you need to. B-Rex

Do you need withut extension tube?

If I am not using the exension tube do I need the mid-level strainer? (on a 280)
Asked by: JohnDarby
No. You cannot use it without the extension anyway, as it will not fit directly on the bottom strainer. BREX
