160-220 Valve Block

Why is my valve block leaking it's less than a year old is there o rings or gaskets that can go bad?

Asked by: Steve61
We are sorry to hear your valve block is leaking! Yes, it has internal gaskets, as well as gaskets on the underside, on the nozzles. You may also have a blocked valve block, however, We would recommend removing it, taking a q tip, and swabbing out all four nozzles or ports on the valve block. Clean any sludge or build up you find out of them, then soak the valve block for 10 minutes in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. If this does not resolve the issue, you should reach out to us directly via 1-800-322-1266 or techsupport.marineland@spectrumbrands.com so we may resolve the issue for you, under warranty. BREX

No, it won't fit your old C220 as it is a different valve block. BREX
