Rated 3 out of 5 by from Got What I Ordered The O-ring is exactly what it says it is. Good quality rubber o-ring. Only problem is that it did not make a difference in the filter leaking. Going to have to go with a different brand filter that doesn't leak all over the place. I shouldn't have to go out and buy silicone to fix the leak in a brand new filter!

To my knowledge, the only place at this point is via our website. The page you included is where you order it. It is a discontinued item. BREX

My c360 filter has a leak coming from the clamps on the top of the canister and i cant figure out why. I believe its the O ring does this ome work for the c360 canister?

Asked by: Yaboyroy
No, it is for the old Magnum 350. You need http://www.marineland.com/Products/aquarium-parts/Filtration-Products-and-Skimmers/C-Series-Canister-Parts/Gasket-Kit-for-C-360-Canister-Filters.aspx if you have the C360 and not the Magniflow 360. An old or pinched o ring can definitely cause leaking. A blocked valve block or one whose o rings are old, can also cause the same issue. BREX

Will this stop my 350 from leaking constantly, is it improved over original? I wrote twice but no response

Asked by: Leaky 350
Hi Leaky 350! If it is leaking from the connection between the cover and the canister, yes, it should stop it from leaking, unless there is a crack of the clips are worn out. We have not made any changes to it, no, as we discontinued the Magnum 350 about 3 years ago. To keep o rings in good working condition, always apply a thin smear of silicone lubricant on them after every maintenance. BREX

Wonder if this is my problem. I have an old mag 350, haven't used in over a decade. I have a small leak that is troublesome - tank is on hardwood floor, and i can't tell if it's leaking from the top or bottom. Oring is not in stock and my local noluck

Asked by: VaGeo
Hi VaGeo, the leak could be coming from the bottom of the plastic housing, the disconnect valves, where the tubing connects to the top of the filter or the big o ring. However, usually if you are not getting a good seal a the o ring, it will also have difficulty priming. You may want to purchase o rings for the disconnect valves and the inlet, outlet. Also check the inlet, outlet for hairline cracks. In the bottom of the housing, where the impeller resides, check for cracks or small holes. Here is a website with the various parts available, including the large o ring: http://www.thatpetplace.com/magnum-350-parts-media. I would recommend stocking up since this filter is discontinued.
