Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great customer service This was my first time working with Marineland. I ordered a biowheel and when it came it was the wrong size. I contacted them to ask what to do and they responded quickly and made sure I was able to receive the correct product as quickly as possible. I would recommend them based on this great customer service.

Bought an aquarium at goodwill, it has model #PL-TE5HX on the lamp case and PFES05HX on the pump. Is there more to replace beside bio wheel and is this the right one?

Asked by: Jessiesgirl4025
Here are the various parts you need for it: http://www.marineland.com/search.aspx?q=hex%205#/?filter.brand=Marineland. It is the Eclipse Hex 5 kit. BREX

Does this fit the Eclipse 2 system? My kits box is labeled Eclipse 2 and the inside parts list said Eclipse Explorer II with bio-wheel ITEM NO. PR 1932B. My bio-wheel is in need of replacement and cannot be found locally for purchase.

Asked by: Sparkle
The Eclipse 2 fits a 20 gallon or 25 gallon tank. The Eclipse Explorer II is a tiny 2 gallon kit we used to make. PR1932B will fit the latter, but not the former. ML90780 would be the one for the former, larger kit.http://www.marineland.com/Products/aquarium-parts/Filtration-Products-and-Skimmers/Emperor-Parts/BIO-Wheel-Assemblies-for-Emperors.aspx. BREX

How long do the bio-wheels usually last for 2 goldfish in a hex 5?

Asked by: Rose306
Good morning, The bio-wheel should last the lifetime of the filter, as this is where the beneficial bacteria collects to maintain the stability of your tank. The only time this should be replaced is if it is truly damaged. MINI
