Intake Tube for the Penguin® 200B.

I'm replacing my intake tube from a penguin 200. Do I need to also get a mid-level strainer or the intake tube  one whole piece  with no connection mid-level?

Asked by: JMS76UBA
If you are replacing just the intake tube, you don't need anything else. If by "intake tube" you mean the entire tube assembly then you will need the mid-level strainer, extension and bottom strainer as well. They are only sold separately, not as a kit. BREX

If I have  two  200 penguin filters running in a 55 gallon , is that enough to filter the water in my tank ?

Asked by: JMS76UBA
It should be yes, as that is enough for up to 80 gallons, but it depends on what types of fish you are housing. For very large goldfish or cichlids, you may need more. BREX
