What is the outside diameter of PF99 intake tube?

Asked by: karen570
We do not have that specification. That filter was discontinued over 15 years ago, and access to records is no longer possible. BREX

I need something to put in the end of the tube that pulls the water into the filter unit so it doesn't suck my fish into the tube. What do you suggest?

Asked by: karenj1962
Hi, karnj1962! You can cover the intake tube with filter floss or sponge. Just be careful not to over constrict the water flow. Healthy fish should not be getting sucked into the intake tube. You may want to treat your fish with an all-in-one remedy to make sure they aren't sick.

Will the strainer fit a MarineLand BioWheel 170?

I have two BioWheel 170s and the strainers have cracked. I just need to know if the strainer will work?
Asked by: MGGTN
No, that one will be too small. You need PR1702 for the mid-level strainer, and PR1264 for the bottom strainer. Unfortunately, the bottom one is no longer available. BREX
