Aquarium Accessories: Vacuum for Aquarium Cleaning

Perfect for regular water changes, this double-duty cleaner siphons as it removes grungy waste buildup from aquarium gravel, leaving the gravel bed open to oxygenated water flow and increased aerobic bacterial action.

I do think I have instructions and can email them directly. As for media, you generally use the micron cartridge in your Magnum 350. BREX

How can I get connect a Siphon-Kleen Gravel Vacuum to a HOT Pro ?

Purchased A HOT 30 Pro from Petco only to find out it was a HOT 30, without the Siphon-Kleen gravel vacuum. I realize this is no longer included with the filter anymore. Where can I get an adapter and instructions to hook up a gravel vacuum to this filter?
Asked by: flyingfish
An adaptor did come with your filter. It's black and looks like a minature plunger, for lack of a better description. I will check and see if I still have instructions. If so, I will email them to you directly. BREX

Where are the details for the Siphon-Kleen gravel vaccum

I'm trying to purchase a Siphon-Kleen gravel vacuum, but there are no details as far as which vacuum I need for my aquarium or any prices on your site. Nor is there the ability to add to cart if I were to purchase. Is your site having technical issues? Please respond ASAP as I am having problems with milky white water in my new aquarium setup. thank you
Asked by: bohegge
At this time, we do not sell these direct, which is why there is no pricing. We are adding products as we can, so they may eventually be available through the site at some point this year. In regards to technical specs, we rarely ever get a question on these, but I have asked the website moderator to add that information. BREX

How well would the Marineland Siphon-Kleen w/ 6' of Hose work for my 40 gallon tank?

I have a tetra advanced power filter that works for 20-40 gallon tanks. I bought it at Wal-Mart so I don't think it is a very good filter and I expect that I will have to clean the tank quite a bit. I am wondering if this siphon kleen would work well for my tank. Is a 6' hose long enough? I am new to fish and tanks too, so i was wondering if you could help describe what it does and how i can keep my fish tank as clean as possible. Thanks.

The Siphon-Kleen is not a power filter. It is used to remove water and gravel vacuum your tank in the maintenance process. This in no way operates as a filtration device.
