Unfortunately, we do not sell tanks directly. They don't survive FED Ex or UPS shipping very well. This is something you will need to special order through a local fish store. BREX

Corner Flow Question

I just purchased the Marineland 200 gallon 36x48x27 tank and am slightly confused by the statement found in product description that the flow rate is 700gph, I want to make sure I purchase the correct pumps to accommodate this flow rate but my tank has 2 corner flows, is my recommend flow rate 1400 gph since there are 2 corner flows on this model tank ? or is 700 gph to be assumed that 2 corner flows were already taken into consideration when basing this flow rate ? Basically, i need to know if i need 2 (700 gph) pumps or 2 (350 gph pumps). Thanks for your time to review.
Asked by: oceanreefz
Great question! The ideal flow at the head height of the top of the return from the bottom of the sump should be 700-750gph (ie, at the 4' vertical lift, the flow rate would need to be within this range of gph as each foot of elevation reduces the flow rate by around 100gph.) So for your dual Corner Flo, you would need to take into consideration that you would need this equation doubled with a Y splitter/diverter on a higher powered pump (1400-1500gph at the appropriate height) or 2 (700-750gph) pumps. Deep Dimension Corner-Flo Glass Aquariums

Hello I was wondering if I can get a deep Dimension Corner-Flo Glass aquarium from online or a local store? And does it come with a sump? And if it does were could we get the media Gilbert etc thank you
Asked by: Mustabser
You would purchase it through a local fish store, not a large chain. Someone local to your area only. No, it does not come with a sump; that is purchased separately as is whatever media you put in the sump. BREX

Looking at 300+ reef. Do you have a rimless product? Also, if I must use your stand, do you have a in-wall option?

Asked by: Prplcat
No, we do not make a 300 gallon rimless. It is extremely difficult to make rimless tanks. And no, we do not have an in wall option stand. You can do a custom stand, but that will reduce the warranty from lifetime to one year. BREX

90 gallon right side overflow?

Is there any way to get a 90 gallon tank with a right side overflow setup vs the left side set up which is currently what you show. The right side set up would be a game changer as far a viewing as the overflow would be buried in the corner. I would pay for the addition customization, Thanks in advance, Drew - Metro Detroit

Required sump size

What is the required sump size for a 250 dd tank. How much water will drain during a power outage
Asked by: Tonydafish
We would recommend looking for one that can hold up to around 40 gallons. What’s more important is the remainder of empty volume in the sump after you’ve reached the operating level of the sump. During a power outage, you’d lose around 10-20 gallons to the pump, as long as siphon break occurs quickly. You’d want the sump to have that much additional space above and beyond the operating level. BREX

Do you have, or make a 20-30 gal long tank?

my first salt water tank was a 20 gal long rectangular. Are they still around? This was back in the late 80s-early90s.

Yes, 20 gallon long tanks are still very much around. I have one in my office. :-) Standard 30 gallon tanks, as well as 30 gallon breeders are also around. BREX

What are the dimensions of the 250 gallon tank

I am building a stand and need to know size of tank andsize of corner cut outs for filtration plumbing
Asked by: Blox58
I have to tell you that by building your own stand, your warranty on the tank will be limited to one year from the original date of purchase and to the tank itself. If it leaks, water damages will not be covered. Custom stands, unless built by those experienced in building them for all types of tanks, will typically cause issues a couple of years after tank set up. 60-1/2 x 36-1/2 x 27-1/4 I will email a diagram to you. How can i Buy a tank from you?

all suppliers of your tanks in my area say they can't order a Deep Dimensions tank. Or are perplexed by the process.
Asked by: Hotwired1018
Unfortunately, we do not sell direct. You would need a local, independent store to be able to order one for you, not a large chain. They simply give the item number of the one you wish to buy to their distributor. That's about it. BREX

300 DD

I know the width of the tank is 36 1/16 but my door frame is only 36. Would it be OK to lay the tank on its side to get it through my front door?
Asked by: ff1064
Yes, it should be, since it would be a brief amount of time. It cannot be stored that way, however, and you would need to just carry it through then turn it upright again. BREX

300G DD tank trim

I recently had the bottom trim of my tank crack and caused my tank to leak. Where can I get a replacement trim piece?
Asked by: SoggyCarpet
The only part of the frames that affect the integrity of the tanks are the center braces up top. However, both top and bottom frames are sold separately by special order through local fish stores as well as sometimes through www.thatpetplace.com. They have to ship freight though, so it is easiest to order through a local fish store (lfs). BREX

200DD Cornerflo Multiple Drains

The over flows are rated at 700gph. I was wondering if this was the limitations on the overflow box or the drain tube. Would the overflow boxes be able to keep up with a total of 4 drain tubes? I want to run 2 into a sump and 2 into a closed loop Oceans Motions wave maker.
Asked by: ThrashAdams
We have not tested our product for this application. It can handle more flow but as to whether it can handle this much more or not, we cannot safely advise you. BREX

What is the flow rate for a 150H corner flo? Just has the one overflow in the left corner.

Also that front panel that lifts up and off, is there anything needed to be done with??? What are the different ways to use that? Not exactly sure what that does.

Each of our Corner Flos are rated for 700gph. The front panel is removable only for the purpose of cleaning the area more easily. Marineland2

glass and bulkhead Qs..

i thought only the front panel glass is starphire glass but in one of the Q and A part you answered someone that the side to side are also starphire glass.. is that true? i'm about the move soon and i need to cut all the fittings that was PVC glued to the tank and i need to buy bulkhead for the 300 DD i would like to know what size hole did marineland made for the 1" bulkheads, does marineland sell those bulkheads. i originally used the kit for this tank..
Asked by: soupa2
You are correct and we apologize for potential prior misinformation. Only the front panel is made of the ultra clear, starphire glass. The bulkhead predrilled hole is actually 1.5". The bulkhead is 1.25" and the return hosing is a 1.0" ID. You should be able to purchase replacement Corner Flo assemblies from a local fish store. Marineland2
