Is it true if I make my own stand it will reduce warranty of the tank?
Yes, it is. Custom stands have not been properly tested to see if they support the pressure points correctly or not. Therefore, the warranty goes from life time on the tank, with coverage on other items besides the tank, to one year on the tank only.

Is a fluval FX6 compatible with the 300 gallon tank?
Looking at it online, it appears to be since it is for tanks up to 400 gallons. Any canister should work with any of our aquariums.

Recent problems with seam failures
Looking for a larger tank to replace my 200 gal. For the money and warranty I'm attracted to the 300 DD. However, doing some research on a few popular forums, there seems to be some seam failures recently. Any thoughts on what might have been the issue and what has been to resolve it? Thanks
We are always striving for continuous quality improvement. We incorporate quality checks at every step of processing. We have added some changes to our large tanks that include the use of clear silicone on the bottom seams so we can more easily see any bubbles or flaws during construction. We have also improved bottom edge cleaning of vertical glass. Marineland stands behind our warranty.

How much does the deep series aquariums run?
I am looking to your deep deminsion aquarium series and am likes the 150 gallon a lot but am just wondering how much it cost? Is there a pricing sheet or something similar?
As we do not sell the tanks directly, no, we do not have a price sheet. Prices vary, dependent on the market in your area. A 150 with stand, etc, will run upwards of $2,000 usually, if not more.

Deep Dimension tank with slight customization??
I love the dimensions on the deep dimension tanks you offer (5'L x 3'D x 27"T) but the predrilled corners aren't exactly what I am looking for... I was wondering if there was anyway to order this tank with the slight customization of having it be drilled as a peninsula style tank?? If so, what would it cost?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer customization.

300 DD specs
I have the exact same question that MikeVA asked you on June 30th. Could you send me the same spec sheet for the DD 300 tank including the exact locations of the overflow holes?
I can send you the drawing of the holes, yes, but I'm not sure what spec sheet you are inquiring about; I would need some specifics from you.

300 gallon DD specs
Is it possible for you to send me a spec sheet or cad file of the exact dimensions and drain locations for this tank. I will be purchasing soon to install in my new house that is currently being designed and we need exact specs.
Yes, it will be emailed to you shortly. However, it is only a CAD drawing of the overflow, not the tank. I will include the exact dimensions in the email though.

How many drain holes are in each overflow
I am looking at the 125 gallon and was wondering how many drain holes are on each corner overflow. I would like to run the herbie method so I would need two on each corner so one can act as a backup in case the first gets clogged, and then one more for the return on each side.
There is one drain and one return on each end.

I just purchased a 300 gallon deep dimension aquarium. when I received the lids for the tank I found that each section was cut at 22.5 inches wide. the middle section of the tank where the lid sits is indeed 22. 5 inches wide. but the outer ends are 22 3/4 inch wide so the glass lids can slide and fall into the tank? My local fish store tells me that this is the only size lid that is manufactured for the tank? How can I fix this problem? for such an expensive aquarium I would think that the lids would fit properly?
The lids are actually just over 22.5" wide (cut at 22.75 but after they are sanded down, spec is 22 and 17/32 or 18/32 inches. Therefore, once they are situated into the inside framing of the tank, the canopies may shift from right to left, but should not fall into the tank.

trying to find price for your 150gal tank ,do i have to call are do you have price list on site?
Unfortunately, we do not sell tanks directly. They don't survive FED Ex or UPS shipping very well. This is something you will need to special order through a local fish store.

Corner Flow Question
I just purchased the Marineland 200 gallon 36x48x27 tank and am slightly confused by the statement found in product description that the flow rate is 700gph, I want to make sure I purchase the correct pumps to accommodate this flow rate but my tank has 2 corner flows, is my recommend flow rate 1400 gph since there are 2 corner flows on this model tank ? or is 700 gph to be assumed that 2 corner flows were already taken into consideration when basing this flow rate ? Basically, i need to know if i need 2 (700 gph) pumps or 2 (350 gph pumps). Thanks for your time to review.
The ideal flow at the head height of the top of the return from the bottom of the sump should be 700-750gph (ie, at the 4' vertical lift, the flow rate would need to be within this range of gph as each foot of elevation reduces the flow rate by around 100gph.) So for your dual Corner Flo, you would need to take into consideration that you would need this equation doubled with a Y splitter/diverter on a higher powered pump (1400-1500gph at the appropriate height) or 2 (700-750gph) pumps.

Deep Dimension Corner-Flo Glass Aquariums
Hello I was wondering if I can get a deep Dimension Corner-Flo Glass aquarium from online or a local store? And does it come with a sump? And if it does were could we get the media Gilbert etc thank you
You would purchase it through a local fish store, not a large chain. Someone local to your area only. No, it does not come with a sump; that is purchased separately as is whatever media you put in the sump.

drilling a 300 DD
i have a 300DD and need to drill the back glass. Is it tempered
No, but that will totally void any warranty you may have on that tank.

I need to drill 2 additional holes in my 150 gallon. I know this voids the warranty. Are all the glass pannels tempered and how thick are they?
That depends on which of our 150 gallon aquariums you own.

Looking at 300+ reef. Do you have a rimless product? Also, if I must use your stand, do you have a in-wall option?
No, we do not make a 300 gallon rimless. It is extremely difficult to make rimless tanks. And no, we do not have an in wall option stand. You can do a custom stand, but that will reduce the warranty from lifetime to one year.

However, we do not sell them directly. You would buy them through a local fish store or www.thatpetplace.com.

90 gallon right side overflow?
Is there any way to get a 90 gallon tank with a right side overflow setup vs the left side set up which is currently what you show. The right side set up would be a game changer as far a viewing as the overflow would be buried in the corner. I would pay for the addition customization, Thanks in advance, Drew - Metro Detroit
Unfortunately, no. We don't do any customization any longer.

Required sump size
What is the required sump size for a 250 dd tank. How much water will drain during a power outage
We would recommend looking for one that can hold up to around 40 gallons. What’s more important is the remainder of empty volume in the sump after you’ve reached the operating level of the sump. During a power outage, you’d lose around 10-20 gallons to the pump, as long as siphon break occurs quickly. You’d want the sump to have that much additional space above and beyond the operating level.

Do you have, or make a 20-30 gal long tank?
my first salt water tank was a 20 gal long rectangular. Are they still around? This was back in the late 80s-early90s.
Yes, 20 gallon long tanks are still very much around. I have one in my office. :-) Standard 30 gallon tanks, as well as 30 gallon breeders are also around.

What are the dimensions of the 250 gallon tank
I am building a stand and need to know size of tank andsize of corner cut outs for filtration plumbing
I have to tell you that by building your own stand, your warranty on the tank will be limited to one year from the original date of purchase and to the tank itself. If it leaks, water damages will not be covered. Custom stands, unless built by those experienced in building them for all types of tanks, will typically cause issues a couple of years after tank set up.
60-1/2 x 36-1/2 x 27-1/4
I will email a diagram to you.
