how thick is the glass on my 90 gallon tank

Asked by: daddyjdizzle
If you have a standard, Marineland or Perfecto 90 gallon of 48 x 18 x 24, the glass is 10 mm thick in the front and back, and on the sides. The bottom is 6mm thick. BREX

I have the 150 gallons Corner Flo-Aquarium (product # 4749797012) and was wondering how much weight I can put on the bottom glass.

Asked by: Mike13
The general rule is 1.5 to 2 times the gallons for how many pounds you can add. Make sure the weight is well distributed; point contact or impact could be a problem if you are referring to rock. BREX

Is any of the 180rr tempered?  I want to reverse my tank and drill the front due to scratches and remove the corner overflows and replace with smaller overflow.

Where can I buy the 75gallon to replace the one I got that is leaking, but I want a overflow on the new one? My local petsmart don't sale them, I just want to make sure it fits the stand that came with my 75 gallon marineland tank.

Asked by: pjbaca4
To find a store, simply scroll down the page to the bottom and click on Buying Options. If it is our tank, it is 48 x 18, no matter what and will fit our stands. If you just purchased a tank that is leaking, you need to either the store or us about warranty. BREX

How do you get the water to draw through the bottom holes in overflow chamber?

Asked by: Jbero
Your water level has to be to the top of the tank. It is pulled up by a siphon/pressure type of action, very slowly. BREX

Asked by: Thatfishdude
We do not sell direct, and Petsmart would not special order a tank. You would need to order through a local fish store. BREX

i was just wondering how much it would cost for either the black 75 gallon tank or the oak 75 gallon and also would it be possible to order one with two corner flows one on each side thanks

Asked by: Austinv
We do not sell direct. Additionally, we do not make custom tanks. The 75 gallon tanks come with one overflow only. Average retail cost for a 75 gallon with stand, canopy, etc, is approximately $600+. BREX

I have a 120 gallon dual overflow marineland deep dimensions tank. It measures 60" wide x 18" deep and 22" tall I believe,  I have ano eshopps rs300 sump , what do you recommend for a return pump? Thanks

Asked by: Mgh323
That would not be a Deep Dimension tanks, as those tanks are all 36" deep. Our 120 is 60 x 18 x 25 also, so I'm not sure which tank you own. However, all of our corner overflows require 750 gph at the top of the overflow. BREX

Depends on which one you are referring to, we have three different 150 gallon tanks. Item 10148 is 31" tall, item 12152 is 26" tall, and item 97035 is 27" tall. The item numbers are for black tanks only. We do have oak as well. BREX

Working with my local fish store to get a 180 dual overflow and Monterey stand, both oak color. The online literature shows the 180 tank only comes in black but the store said they can get oak. Does the tank come in oak?

Asked by: Ddad
No, it does not. Additionally, the oak Monterey is a dark reddish oak, not a golden color, like you might be thinking, and the tanks that do come in oak, are more golden. The black tank would look better on the Monterey. BREX

the corner flo plumbing do you use purple prime to mount the pvc pipes

Asked by: Keyland
We do not prime or glue any of our Corner-Flo pipes. We leave that up to the customer, if they so desire. I will send you a document with plumbing tips. In general, since our Corner-Flo Plumbing may need cleaning over time, we don’t suggest gluing the interior plumbing at all. The one connection to the Corner-Flo plumbing that needs to seal is the one to the slip connection on the inner diameter of the bulkhead under the tank. Then any other connections that lead to a sump or filter, must be sealed in some way. The purple primer is simply to help people know where they’ve applied primer. There’s also clear primer and as long as you ensure you have contacted the perimeter of the surface of any fittings, then it is fine. BREX
