Are the 56 gallon column aquarium being discontinued? I am unable to locate it with stand.

Asked by: rmiranda19
No, it is not discontinued. We do not sell it as an ensemble with a stand. They are sold separately through local fish stores. BREX

I bought a 150 gal tank a few years ago from Petsmart, and I broke the plastic middle support beam on the top frame while moving. I wanted to know if you can sell a new top frame for the tank so I can replace it. The dimensions are 48in x 24 in.

Asked by: Art375
Frames can be special ordered in some cases, through local fish stores, but not large chain stores like Petsmart. We do not encourage replacing frames because it is not an easy job, and puts a lot of strain on the sealant. It also voids the warranty because of the risk to the sealant. It is considered safer to replace the tank. BREX

Ok so I went to the petland on 174 next to me that I was told to go from ya to get a 125 gallon reef ready aquarium from but they told me they don't sell tanks with sumps inside of them so how would I go about get a tank from ya

Asked by: Bobo523
We do not sell direct at all. A 125 gallon reef ready tank will not come with the sump, you will need to buy the sump separately and plumb it into the tank. The tank will simply have corner overflows. You will also need a utility pump. BREX

I would like to replace a 60 gallon rectangle glass aquarium that I got with a heartland stand. so far nobody will sell me just the aquarium. Can you please help.

Asked by: Doug1981
So you have the tank, but want to replace it with the same one? We also make a 55 that fits that stand. The 55 isn't quite as tall, but is the same length and width. You may need to special order one through a local store, not a chain store. Item number for the tank by itself is 10660. The 55 gallon is 4" shorter. BREX

Asked by: dougbji
This is a very common size. Here it is on the Petsmart website: http://www.petsmart.com/fish/supplies/aquariums-and-stands/aquariums/marineland-20-gallon-biowheel-led-aquarium-kit-17289.html. This is available for pickup in store only. We no longer make hex tanks at all, however. BREX

The 75 gallon tank has a front or is the same is that I saw a difference in two inside corners is to pass some type of filtration tube

Asked by: Jose Luis
Sounds like you have a tank with a corner flow system. If so, the corner flows go in the back and you need to use a sump filter with them. If you are unfamiliar with that filtration, it is not for beginners. You can find more information here: http://www.marineland.com/Products/glass-aquariums-and-tanks/corner-flo-pre-drilled-aquariums.aspx BREX

I am looking at the 220xH glass aquarium. Want to make my own stand what should my dimensions be

Asked by: NasbyEvan
We do not offer advice on building stands. Custom stands typically cause the tank to leak within one to two years. Dims for the tank are 72-7/16 x 24-7/16 x 30-1/2, including the frame. Custom stands limit the warranty on the tank only, and only for one year. BREX

What is covered in the lifetime warranty. And what is not?

Asked by: sandmouse
Sandmouse, Thank you for your inquiry. Glass Aquariums that are over 12 gallons have limited lifetime warranty as long as they are on an approved aquarium stand. This will cover any defect in the manufacturing of the aquarium. Thank you, Christina

I purchased a 60 gallon Marineland tank from Petsmart. There is a sticker on the bottom of the tank that says Tempered Glass Do Not Drill. I was wondering if that just applies to the bottom of the tank or if I would be able to drill the back of the tank.

Asked by: Barret
Good Morning, The Tempered Glass sticker is for the bottom panel only. However, please notate that any alteration made to the tank will void further warranty coverage on the aquarium. Christina

Are 48x24x24 tanks available? If so, what's the thickness of the glass? The local pet shop like Petsmart would be able to order this for me, along with the stand and canopy if they don't have them in stock? Thanks!

Asked by: jalam
The 120 gallon is 48 x 24 x 25. That is the closest we have in size. No, Petsmart is not local, they are a national chain. You need a store locally owned and operated, by a private individual or group. BREX

Bought a 55 gallon set up at Petsmart and accidentally broke my tops. Is there anyway to determine which replacement top I would want and where would I source that?

Asked by: DaDozer24
Assuming it is one of our kits, and not a competitor's, you have two black, full hoods. The replacement is 75485, our recessed Black Fluorescent Full Hood. This item is available through locally owned and operated private fish stores, as well as www.thatpetplace.com. We also sell glass canopies for this tank, along with several options in LED lighting from which to choose. http://www.marineland.com/Products/aquarium-lighting/LED-Aquarium-Lighting.aspx BREX
