Is it possible to order a new plastic frame for the top of a 50 gal (48"x12.5"x20") glass tank?  The plastic has cracked where the light sits in the top of the tank.  Thanks!

Frames are available by special order only, through local fish stores. They have to be shipped in with freight because of their odd size and shape. To locate a possible store in your area, scroll down to the bottom of any page on our site, and click on Buying Options tab. Then enter your zip code into the dealer locator. BREX

I need an aquarium 60 inches long by 18 inches deep by 30 inches high with side over flows

Asked by: scott the fishman
We make two tanks that are 60" long. One is the 120XH which is 60-1/2 x 18-1/2 x 25-5/16 and has two corner overflows. The other one is the 250 gallon Deep Dimensions which is 60-1/4 x 36 x 27-1/4 also with two corner overflows. We do not make custom tanks and do not make any tanks with side overflows. BREX

We appreciate your interest in Marineland products! Unfortunately, no, we do not ship tanks at all, and we do not sell directly. You would need to visit a local fish store in your area. If they do not stock this size, they may be able to order it for you. BREX

does the red oak Monterey stand match the oak frame on a 75 gallon

Asked by: kurt schnepf
Thank you for your interest in Marineland products! No, it will be darker than the oak frame which is more of a golden oak color. This is typical of all aquarium manufacturers. BREX

Hi, I just bought a 75 gallon Marineland aquarium and on the bottom there is a sticker that says "Tempered Glass Do Not Drill". I was wondering if I can still drill the sides or not.  Thanks, Alex

Thank you for your interest in this Marineland aquarium! There are 2 braces, black silicone, and the panels are 12 mm, except for the bottom, which is 19 mm. BREX

Is there a glass aquarium available with these approximate dimensions. Also a top with LED lighting. Size: 60W x 18D x 28H Please email me the information. Thanks! Jim

Asked by: Jim O
Thank for your interest in Marineland products Jim! The closest size is the 120 XH which is 60 x 18 x 25. We would recommend a glass canopy with a LED strip light that meets the needs of the type of tank you intend to set up. For freshwater fish only, or with low light plants as well, the Advanced LED Light Strip is an excellent choice. BREX

Hi, what panes of the 34g (30x18x16) tank are tempered? I'd like to buy one and drill it, on the bottom ideally. I understand that would void any warranty. Thank you

Asked by: VAhokie22
Thank you for your interest in Marineland aquariums. However, a 34 is actually 30x12x16. We do not make a tank that is 30x18x16. Our 34 gallon has a tempered bottom panel but that is all. Any drilling would void warranty. BREX

Two questions about tempered glass: 1. I'm looking to buy the 37g column aquarium (20x18x22) and I would like to know if the panels are tempered. 2. Is there a master list available for Marineland aquariums that indicates which panels are tempered?

Asked by: mikers
The bottom is the only tempered panel. Any drilling voids all warranty, however. Yes, there is, but it is not published at this time as we are updating it, currently. BREX

The bottom trim of my 125 gallon aquarium cracked right in the middle, will that cause a problem?

Asked by: Kellyn
As long as it is the bottom frame, no, that is not an issue. The bottom frame is not there for support, it is actually just for aesthetics. The top frame supports the tank. BREX

Do ANY of your tanks have tempered sides, or is it just the bottom. The tank I will probably be getting is a 125 gallon (72x18x22) but wanted to ask the question in case I decide on a different/larger tank.

Asked by: Greyleaf
We appreciate your interest in Marineland aquariums! We have a few that are tempered in the front and on the bottom, and a couple that are tempered all the way around. Most are either not tempered at all or are tempered only on the bottom. The 120XH, 125, and 150 are all tempered on the bottom only. BREX

The centre brace on my 220 g tank has deteriorated and finally broken. What do I do ?

Asked by: RCJ20
That depends on a number of things. It would be best for you to contact us with the following information: - built by code off of sticker on tank - receipt for tank - picture of center brace If this is a Marineland tank, it will have a Limited Lifetime Warranty on manufacturer's defects, as long as it has been kept on a manufactured stand, not a custom one, and you are the original owner. Otherwise, you may be able to special order the top frame and replace it. To determine the best course of action to solve this issue, please either call us at 1-800-322-1266 or email us via techsupport.marineland@spectrumbrands.com. BREX

I purchased the 60 gal. I can figure out how to setup the LED lights and the plastic section. Does the plastic slide over the glass lid and the light slid on the plastic. Will I have cut the plastic cover to install the lights. No instructions.

Asked by: Jerry58
Thank you for your inquiry! Sounds like you have the version with the LED light bars. If so, the plastic slides into the underside of the light bar, and the light rests on the canopy. I will email some instructions to you. BREX

best way to remove agle

Asked by: michael552
Algae can be controlled with regular maintenance. Depending on the size of the tank, vacuum the gravel and remove/replace 30% of the water monthly. While the water level is low, use an algae pad to scrub algae off of the inside of the glass. You can also use algae eating fish like plecos or otocinclus catfish, depending on the species of fish in your tank. BREX

We bought a 75gal with stand at petsmart awhile back and are looking into drilling into the side of the fish tank. From an earlier question you stated that only the bottom was tempered glass on a 60gal tank. Would this be true about the 75gal Marineland?

Asked by: Swans
In this case, yes, although all tanks are different. Any drilling will void ALL warranty with the tank. BREX
