Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great filter I bought filter about 6 months ago. The filter works great. I have had no issues with leaking. The only issue I have with it is there was no adapter to use a vaccume to clean the gravel. I have not been able to find one. Might be good idea to make one for the Magniflow filters

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Moved on to fluval. I own 4 magnaflow 360’s and the 55 gallon downsized magnaflow. First off I always choose marineland thinking they were amoung the best company’s out in the fish game. I’m sadly mistaken 3 of the 4 360s leak air from the the inlet hose at the base of the connection, everything was properly installed eventually I had to do what most who complain about this issue do and just use clamps from a hardware store. Second when doing filter maintenance sometimes the power heads don’t turn back on(everything plugged in is on a protected line), when confronted with the issue customer service demanded a receipt (which is long gone thinking I wouldn’t have any issues) so I was forced to make a decision try to go through my bank statements and find the proof of purchase, wait for another power head that’s just gonna give up because it’s an inferior design and potentially cause harm to my discus because I’d have to wait for the warranty or just go buy a new one. So I did I got the fluval fx4 thanks for turning another loyal customer away!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bubbles Galore I received my C-360 as a present for Christmas 2017. I know it inside and out and has always run fine but it has always leaked just a bit and has always blown bubbles. I have tested and tested the housing and it always leaks and sucks air. Marineland says to send pics and a receipt. It was a present and there is no way my camera can pick up a small crack. I cannot see it myself but it is there and always has been. I just keep in in a rubber container and let it roll but I am getting tired of the bubbles. If I were building an external canister the first thing I would think of is it not leaking. Looking at Sun Sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have 3 of these. I bought 3 of these a few years ago and have had absolutely no problems with them that I am reading in some of the other reviews and would guess some ofnthose problems are just set up issues. Maintenance is a breeze. Honestly though, I rarely even fool with rinsing out or replacing the media. I think of it as letting the natural biofilter do it’s thing and me just being lazy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good filter, like the features I bought the 360 one year ago this month and I have had no problems. I like the disconnect features which make it much easier to change filter media. Very quiet operation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Easily the worst canister available I purchased a 360 about a year ago and have nothing but problems with it. It does not gracefully restart after a power outage, required parts from ACE Hardware to not spit micro bubbles into the tank, and has extremely poor water flow. It is rated for 100 gallons, but moves very little water compared to the same filter rated for 30. This is the second unit I have, since the first wasn’t functional. Terrible product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from New name, bubble blaster 3000 Does not seal effectively. Doesn't leak water but constantly sucks in air and blows bubbles all over the tank. Otherwise Adequate flow and filtration for my 55. For a sub $200 option, not terrible.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Bought this filter to replace a Magnum 350 that was 10 years old - would of bought another Magnum 350 if it was still made (have had 2 350's in a 25 year span) The 360 worked great out of the box, but after first service began to leak and suck air. Purchased new gasket kit after using the filter less than 3 months, corrected issue until next service interval, then same problem. Followed all directions for fixing but always ended up being a temporary solution. After 2 years of frustration I finally removed the the filter and replaced with a different brand. I have use many Marineland products in the past and this was my first disappointment.
