Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked well against ich BUT... I was using an herbal remedy to get rid of ich in my tank with 4 mollies, an apple snail, and a Pictus catfish. That wasn’t working well so I bought this hoping it would take care of the issue. It did BUT I had no idea that catfish were sensitive to this medication. After treating for about 3 days, my catfish started looking ill. I stopped treatment (by now I started suspecting the meds) and still did my 25% water change along with adding activated charcoal back into the filter cartridge. My poor little catfish didn’t make it. I even looked at the bottle to make sure there were no warnings on it. I already knew in general to use half the dose with tetras but I had no idea about catfish. This product works but use caution with scaleless fish and tetras!!!!!! Marinelad really needs to add that to the label. There is a warning that it may turn your aquarium sealant blue but nothing about being dangerous to some types of fish. I only hope my snail will continue to do well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Bought this with a recommendation when I noticed white spots on my guppies and black neon tetras. Before I used it I did a 75% water change vacuuming the gravel. Following the directions on the bottle I did a 25% water change everyday before adding solution. By the 3rd day I noticed the fish improving. By the 4th day the spots are gone and the fish are happy. The two black fancy guppies looked in pretty bad shape before the ick remedy and I didn't think they would make it. I treated the tank for 6 days as a precaution. I highly recommend Marineland Ick Remedy as I have tried others and lost fish.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Going down hill fast I am using this right now and have been for four days. I started right away at the first sing of spots. After two days it looked like it was almost gone and now at four days my fish have so many spots and are very lethargic just laying on the bottom. I am doing the water changes and dosing at the same time everyday. I don’t know if this is going to work!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible I had a really bad ick problem in my tank and could not get it under control. i tried 4 different medicines before I finally came across this Marineland product. It has a natural ingredient to it that wasn't harmful to my non-sick fish or any of my live plants. It will turn your water blue for a little bit after each dose but it will usually fade away before the next dose. My rock decoration has the slightest blue tint to it now (it actually looks kind of cool), but I'll take a slight blue stain over losing all my fish any day. After 5 days of treatment, every fish that had ick is 100% completely clear of it and everyone is doing great! Thank you so much for this product Marineland, you saved many fish lives at our house!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helped so much! I used this to treat a female betta I brought home from a pet store because she had really bad ich. I used 1/2 tsp of this in my 5 gallon tank daily and she was ich free in 5 days. I would highly recommend continuing to use this treatment and continuing water changes after all the white spots are gone to treat the ich leftover in the tank.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thumbs up This has cleared up the Ich on my Blue Rams nicely and within just a few days. My Neon Tetras and Cobra Guppies havent quite cleared up yet, but they look much better. I’m wondering whether or not this product is plant safe since a few of my Amazon Swords and Crytocorynes seem to be melting a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Our fish recently got ick and I was super nervous. I read several different ways to treat the aquarium, but they were super laborious and complicated. I went to our local pet store and they recommended this product. We followed instructions,20% water change and such. Our cichlids are almost all cleared up and it’s been only 2 days! I am very pleased with this product.
